Wild Outdoor Women (WOW) Events at Lake Metigoshe State Park are primarily for ladies over the age of 16 who wish to learn or improve on skills associated with several outdoor recreational activities. This event heavily depends upon partnerhips that enable us to offer unique opportunities for participants to try out equipment, learn something new, refine skills or simply meet others that share an interest in the outdoors. Our partners for this event includes the State Water Commission of North Dakota, North Dakota Forest Service, Val's Cyclery, Pheasants Forever, Metigoshe Ministries/Camp Metigoshe, Dakota College at Bottineau, North Dakota Game Fish Department and Scheels. In support of the event, Starion Bank has offered to pay the state park entrance fees for those participating in the event. We look forward to seeing you at the lake in September!
