Wild Outdoor Women (WOW) Events at Lake Metigoshe State Park are primarily for ladies over the age of 16 who wish to learn or improve on skills associated with several outdoor recreational activities. This event is a smaller, modified version that will follow North Dakota Smart Restart as well as CDC guidelines.WOW Events are held in February and in September to highlight the region's recreational opportunities. This event heavily depends upon partnerhips that enable us to offer unique opportunities for participants to try out equipment, learn something new, refine skills or simply meet others that share an interest in the outdoors. Our partners for the upcoming event include the North Dakota Game Fish Department, Bottineau Winter Park, Annie's House Adaptive Recreation Program, Val's Cyclery, Turtle Mountain Trails Association, Starion Bank, Souris River Telephone Communcations (SRT), INTENTional Yoga with Crystal and Marie's. We look forward to seeing everyone (from a distance) at the lake in February!
